Day 1

Casablanca to Rabat

Begin your tour at Mohamed V Airport in Casablanca. Visit the impressive Hassan II Mosque, the largest in Africa, built between 1987-1993. Marvel at the intricate craftsmanship of Moroccan artisans. Continue to Rabat, the capital of Morocco. Explore the Royal Gates, built in 1864, and the charming Chellah Gardens with its defensive walls and gates from the 14th century. Visit the Mohamed V Museum, established in 1972, and the Mausoleum of Moroccan Kings Mohammed V (d. 1962) and Hassan II (d. 1999), alongside the tomb of Moulay Abdullah. Discover the 12th-century Hassan Tower and the Oudaya Kasbah, built in the same century, offering stunning views of the surrounding area.
After breakfast, travel to Meknes. Visit the granary at Sahrij Swani, used to store provisions for the army, and explore the Royal Palace and Moulay Ismail Mausoleum. Enter the medina through the grand Bab Mansour gate, built in 1732, and explore the lively Saht Lhdim square. After breakfast, embark on a journey to Marrakech, passing through the Middle Atlas Mountains. Stop in Azrou, known for its cedar forests inhabited by Magot monkeys and a ski resort established during French colonization. Enjoy a refreshment break before continuing to Marrakech. Experience the vibrant atmosphere of Jamaa El Fna square, where locals and tourists mingle with storytellers, Gnaoua dancers, water sellers, and acrobats.

Enjoy a free day to explore the new city of Gueliz, indulge in a Hammam and spa treatment, or visit the stunning Majorelle Gardens, created by French artist Jacques Majorelle. Alternatively, explore the Menara Gardens, established in the 12th century.
