Day 1
Tanger – Chefchaouen - Fes
Upon arrival at the port of Tanger, you'll be greeted and driven through the scenic Rif Mountains and Tetouan city. Enjoy the breathtaking mountain landscapes en route to Chefchaouen, a stunning village nestled at the foot of the Rif Mountains. In Chefchaouen, explore the Spanish-style square surrounded by arts and crafts stores, rooftop restaurants, and cafes where we'll have lunch. Continue your journey to Fes, where you'll spend the night.
After breakfast, depart from your accommodation heading south towards Ifrane and Azrou through the Middle Atlas Mountains. Stop at the cedar forests to see Barbary Apes in their natural habitat. Travel through the Tizi Ntalghamt Pass to Midelt and along the impressive Ziz Gorge, carved through volcanic rock, witnessing spectacular views of the Middle Atlas plateau. After lunch, continue through the scenic Ziz Valley to Erfoud, Erissani, and finally Merzouga. Here, embark on a camel ride to a Berber camp in the middle of the Erg Echabbi Sand Dunes, the highest in North Africa. Enjoy dinner around the campfire under the starry desert sky, accompanied by traditional Berber drum music.
Day 2
Fes – Ifrane – Midelt - Ziz Valley - Merzouga
Day 3
Merzouga - Todra Gorge - Dades Valley
Rise early to witness a magnificent sunrise over the dunes, followed by a camel ride back to the hotel for breakfast and freshening up. Depart for Tinghir and explore the dramatic Todra Gorge. Continue to the picturesque Dades Valley, where you'll have dinner and spend the night.
After breakfast, drive through the scenic Dades Valley towards Kalaat Mgouna and Ouarzazate. The road through the Dades Valley, known as the Road of 1,000 Kasbahs, offers countless photographic opportunities. Visit the Rose Valley and Skoura village before continuing to Ouarzazate, dubbed the “Hollywood of Africa.” Proceed to Ait Ben Haddou Kasbah, the largest Kasbah in Morocco, and enjoy lunch with stunning views. Continue through the breathtaking Tizi-n-Tichka Pass, reaching an altitude of 2,260 meters in the High Atlas Mountains. Stop to appreciate the impressive views and visit an argan oil cooperative before arriving in Marrakech.
