Explore Morocco's History and Culture - 7 Day Itinerary from Casablanca to Marrakech including Rabat, Meknes, Fes and more!
On Day 1 - Casablanca to Rabat
Our tour begins in the beautiful city of Casablanca, with an opportunity to visit the grand Hassan II Mosque, constructed between 1987–1993. We will experience the skillful craftsmanship of Moroccan artisans and immerse ourselves in their cultural richness. Then, we will take a drive to Rabat, the capital of Morocco, and enjoy views of the 1864 Royal Gates, the Mohamed V Museum, and the 1330 Oudaya Kasbah. You will be able to explore the roof of the Kasbah, offering stunning views of the area.
On Day 2 - Rabat to Meknes and Fes
After breakfast, we will travel to Meknes and visit the granary at Sahrige Swani, the royal palace, and Moulay Ismail mausoleum. We will enter the medina through the largest gates, the Bab Mansour built in 1732. Then, we will drive to Volubilis – the largest Roman ruins in Morocco with beautiful mosaics, to experience the past.
On Day 3 - Sightseeing in Fes
We will start day 3 with a visit to the Seven Gates of the Royal Palace and incredible views from the southern tower of the medina. Then, we will explore Fes’ handicrafts, the art of pottery–making, breathtaking mosaics, and captivating stories. You will be able to wander through the old Medina and its more than nine thousand alleyways, including a visit to the Elmadrasa Elboananiya, the intellectual and cultural capital of the kingdom. End your day with a local dinner, music, and belly dancing.
On Day 4 - Drive from Fes to Marrakech
On day 4, we will embark on a magical journey to the Red City of Marrakech, passing by the Middle Atlas and Azrou, known for its cedar wood forest and ski resort. Once in Marrakech, you can admire Jamaa El Fna square and all its attractions.
On Day 5 - Explore Marrakech
Your guide will accompany you as you visit Marrakech’s many monuments, including the 19th-century Bahia Palace, the Saadian Tombs from the 17th century, the Koranic School of Ben Youssef, and the 12th century Koutoubia mosque. You will also have the opportunity to explore the Souks and take part in some shopping. Savor a refreshing drink and a panoramic view of Jamaa El Fna square at one of the restaurants or cafes.
On Day 6 - Free Day in Marrakech
On day 6, you can spend your time in Marrakech as desired. Relax and enjoy the Hammam and spa, visit the new city of Gueliz, or stroll through the stunning Majorelle and Menara gardens. You can also explore the city and take in its beauty at your own pace.
On Day 7 - Return Transfer to Casablanca or Marrakech Airport
To end your wonderful journey, we will transfer you to either the Marrakech Menara Airport, or the Mohamed V Airport in Casablanca.
